Let’s be honest, Serie A haven’t been that exciting lately. It was one of the most exciting leagues in the world when Juventus, Inter and Milan used to dominate Europe but now it’s only one team dominating the entire season even Bundesliga and Ligue 1 have been more happening that this.
But if we talk about the most exciting game of Serie A, it’ll be Napoli vs Juventus, as Napoli was the team which were the closest to Juventus but they were not a threat for the Turin side.
It was 3rd of March and Napoli were looking to close the gap while Juventus were looking to seal the season for them. But Napoli’s hopes were bashed when their keeper Alex Meret was shown a red card in the 25th minute of the match Pjanic and Can then scored for Juventus putting them ahead but Napoli fans again started to dream when Pjanic was shown red card in the 47th minute for a deliberate handball. Callejon then scored for Napoli which turned out to be the last goal of the match.
Napoli were given a chance to win to pull another back when they were awarded a penalty but Lorenzo Insigne rattled the post.
Juventus have won eight consecutive Serie A titles and nobody is getting even close to them. They are untouchable, just like they were in that match, almost every other club were hoping that Napoli beat them but they failed and chances of touching Juventus were bashed.
Another reason why that was the most exciting match was because of the pace of it, it was undoubtedly the most fast paced match of the season with both teams reduced to 10 men.
