Rumors of Chelsea star Eden Hazard’s probable move to Real Madrid have been floating around for quite some time. Even after more than a year, it still persists. This despite the 28-year Belgian forward having signed a deal that will keep him at Stamford Bridge till at least 2020. The mercurial Hazard has been in sublime form this season getting 16 goals and as many as 15 assists, which is one of the reasons that Chelsea are in the Top Four of the English Premier League. His three goals and two assists in the 2018 Russia World Cup helped Belgium attain the third spot in the world’s premier tournament. Hazard, whose contract ends next summer, seems to be showing no interest in signing an extension at Stamford Bridge. The word doing the rounds is that a deal with Real amounting to £100million is in the works, a price at which Chelsea may want to sell their talismanic forward.
Despite having world class forwards like the awesome Mohammad Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp is still on the lookout for more attacking options and one of them is West Ham star Felipe Anderson. The 26-year-old Brazilian scored 9 goals and provided 4 assists from the 36 games he featured in for his club in the 2018-19 season. West Ham, in all likelihood, may not want to part with their prized winger but they have a clause that allows Anderson to leave for a fee of not less than £75million.
Meanwhile Bundesliga giants are preparing themselves to make a bid for speedy Manchester City winger, Leroy Sane. The 23-year old German international was in the thick of City’s goal surge this season helping himself to as many as 16 across all competitions. As reports suggest, City’s Pep Guardiola is unwilling to part with Sane for anything less than £90 million while Bayern president Uli Hoeness has hinted that he would not want to spend more than £70 million on any player this season. Sane is yet to sign a new contract at the Etihad and with only two years left on his current deal, he could choose to move on. Rumors are afloat that Guardiola is looking to replace Sane with Benfica boy wonder Joao Felix. The 19-year old attacking midfielder is currently valued at around £35 million but it’s certain that the Portuguese club would want to release him for far more.
